Privacy Policy — Divnest

Divnest (“the app”) is a dividend tracker developed by Berat Mehmetoglu. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your information.

Summary

Divnest does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

Data you enter

The holdings and dividend records you add (ticker symbols, exchanges, quantities, costs, currencies, dividend amounts, ex/payment dates, withholding tax, notes) are stored only on your device using Apple’s on-device database (SwiftData). This data is never sent to us or to any third party. We operate no servers and have no way to access it.

If you enable iCloud device backup, your data may be included in that backup under Apple’s terms; this is handled entirely by Apple/iOS, not by Divnest.

Network requests

To show prices, dividend history, and stock-safety information, the app makes outbound network requests that do not include any personal information — only the public lookup key for a stock (its ticker symbol and exchange code, e.g. “AAPL” or “THYAO.IS”):

Market data — current prices and dividend history are fetched from Yahoo Finance (query1.finance.yahoo.com).
Fundamentals & dividend calendar — safety-score inputs and announced dividends are fetched from Financial Modeling Prep (financialmodelingprep.com).

No information about you, your holdings, or your portfolio is sent with these requests — only the public symbol being looked up. Responses are cached on your device to reduce requests. These requests are subject to the respective providers’ own policies.

Purchases

Divnest Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled by Apple under your Apple ID; Divnest never receives or stores your payment details. Purchase/restore status is read from Apple’s StoreKit on your device only.

Notifications

Reminders (ex-dividend dates, expected payments, safety-score changes, and summaries) are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. No notification data leaves the device.

Children

Divnest is a general-purpose finance utility and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
