Terms of Use (EULA) — Carnest

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Carnest app (“the app”), provided by Berat Mehmetoglu (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard Apple End User License Agreement (EULA), which apply in addition to these Terms.

Subscriptions and purchases

Carnest is free to use, and your service history is never held back: an unlimited number of service records and reminders for one vehicle costs nothing, and anything you have already written stays readable and editable whether or not you pay. Carnest Pro adds receipt photos beyond the first three, a second and further vehicles, CSV export and import, the PDF service book, iCloud backup, and alternate app icons and accent colours. It is offered as:

Carnest Pro (Lifetime) — a one-time, non-consumable purchase.
Carnest Pro (Yearly) — an auto-renewable subscription, billed once every 12 months.
Carnest Pro (Monthly) — an auto-renewable subscription, billed once every month.

For the auto-renewable Yearly and Monthly plans:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The Yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial, offered to Apple IDs that have not already used a trial in this subscription group. Unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid year at the then-current price. The Monthly plan has no trial.
You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your device’s App Store account settings after purchase.
Prices are shown in the app prior to purchase and may vary by region.

All billing and refunds are handled by Apple under your Apple ID; we do not process or store payment information. Refund requests are subject to Apple’s policies.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app except as permitted by law.

Your data

Carnest stores the data you enter on your device and collects no personal information. With Carnest Pro, it is also mirrored to your own private iCloud database so it survives a lost or replaced phone; it is never sent to us. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will reflect changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
