Privacy Policy — Subnest

Subnest (“the app”) is a subscription tracker developed by Berat Mehmetoglu. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your information.

Summary

Subnest does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

Data you enter

The subscriptions you add (names, amounts, billing dates, categories, notes, reminder settings) are stored only on your device using Apple’s on-device database (SwiftData). This data is never sent to us or to any third party. We operate no servers and have no way to access it.

If you enable iCloud device backup, your data may be included in that backup under Apple’s terms; this is handled entirely by Apple/iOS, not by Subnest.

Network requests

The app makes a small number of outbound network requests that do not include any personal information:

Brand logos — the app requests service logos from a public favicon service (Google’s favicon endpoint) using only the brand’s public domain (e.g. “netflix.com”). No information about you is sent.
Exchange rates — the app fetches public currency exchange rates from a third-party rates API to convert totals into your chosen base currency. No information about you is sent.

These requests are subject to the respective providers’ own policies. The app works fully offline using bundled fallback data if these requests fail.

Purchases

Subnest Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled by Apple under your Apple ID; Subnest never receives or stores your payment details. Purchase/restore status is read from Apple’s StoreKit on your device only.

Notifications

Renewal reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. No notification data leaves the device.

Children

Subnest is a general-purpose finance utility and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
